The Nzema East Municipal Assembly has purchased five waste containers as part of its ongoing efforts to improve sanitation and promote environmental cleanliness within the municipality. The containers were received at the Assembly premises at Axim on 28th September, 2026.
The initiative is aimed at improving waste collection and disposal, reducing indiscriminate dumping of refuse, and creating a cleaner and healthier environment for residents.
The assembly remains committed to strengthening sanitation management and encouraging residents to adopt responsible waste disposal practices to help keep the municipality clean and safe.
Management has indicated that the containers will be strategically placed at vantage points within the municipality to serve the public effectively.
