A special General Assembly meeting was held  in accordance with Section 15(5) of the model standing order for MMDAs. The Nzema East Municipal Assembly organized theirs on the 7th October, 2021 to confirm the Government Nominee of Municipal Chief Executive, in the person of Mrs. Dorcas Elizabeth Amoah. 

The Western Regional Minister, Hon. Okyere Darko graced the occasion with his entourage; the Member of Parliament of Evalue-Ajomoro-Gwira Constituency, the NPP Regional Chairman, the NPP Regional Treasurer, the NPP Regional Youth Organizer and a few others. 

The ceremony was a peaceful and successful one with the Assembly members voting in unison to confirm the president’s nominee Mrs. Dorcas Elizabeth Amoah as the new Municipal Chief Executive of the Nzema East Municipal.
