Ghana Education Service in partnership with USAID organized a one-day reading festival for the various basic schools in the Nzema East Municipality. The event took place on the 19th of July, 2022 at the Nzema East Municipal Assembly hall. The host of the programme was the District Education Director of Nzema East Municipal Assembly, Mr. Nathaniel Effum. This programme was organized to improve the reading ability of the pupils and to boost their reading confidence. The special Guests of honour invited for the programme was the Hon. MP for Evalue-Ajomoro-Gwira Constituency, Hon. Kofi Arko Nokoe, the Regional Director of Education, Mrs. Felicia Agyeibea Okai, and Hon. MCE of Nzema East Municipality, Hon. Dorcas Elizabeth Amoah.
