The Municipal Chief Executive of the Nzema East Municipal Assembly, Hon. Frank Okpenyen on Sunday, 28th February, 2021 distributed PPEs to churches in the Nzema East Municipal Assembly.

Hon. Frank Okpenyen donated over 7000 hand sanitizers and nose masks each to congregants of the various churches he visited as part of the first phase of his distribution. He further admonished the congregants to strictly adhere to the COVID-19 protocols; wearing nose masks, regularly washing hands with soap and using hand sanitizers.

The churches he worshipped with were Roman Catholic, The Apostolic Church, Christ Apostolic Church, Zion Chapel, Anglican church, Methodist Church, Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Assemblies of God, Pentecost and Endtime Restoration Church all in Axim.

The next phase of PPEs distribution by the Municipal Chief Executive will include the rest of the Churches, Mosques and market places in the Municipality.
