On 2nd September, 2023, The Municipal Chief Executive Hon. Dorcas Elizabeth Amoah together with her entourage pay a visit to Ewoku Community, a suburb of Nzema East Municipality to join them in celebration of Kundum. The Kundum festival is celebrated by the Nzema and Ahanta people of the Western of Ghana. It is celebrated to thank God for the abundance of food at the time of the harvest period of the area.

During the visit, a Cash Donation was made in support of the festival celebration.
