The Municipal Chief Executive Hon. Dorcas Elizabeth Amoah on 19th September, 2023 met with Chiefs and Opinion leaders from the Gwira to extensively discuss on mining activities in the area. In attendance were, MCE, MCD, Constituency Chairman, Constituency Organiser, BNI Rep, EPA Rep, Gwira Eshiem Chief and Gwira Tumentu Chief and some opinion leaders.
