On Tuesday 29th April, 2025 at the Assembly Conference Room Axim. The Municipal Security Council to their first meeting with the new Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Nzema East Municipal Assembly. Mr. Emmanuel K. Assamoah informed members that the MCE who is also the chairman of the Security Council has officially commenced duty and as courtesy demands, he has to meet the heads of the Security agencies to ascertain the level of security in the municipality.The MCD formally introduced the MCE Hon. Herbert Kuah Dickson to members of the council and also congratulated him on his appointment on behalf of the officers. This was followed by self-introduction of the officers to their chairman.

Hon. Kuah Dickson extended welcome greetings to the Council members and appreciated their prompt response to the invitation irrespective of the short notice. Heartfelt gratitude was expressed to the officers by the MCE for their professionalism during the confirmation period. He appealed for support of MUSEC members to make his tenure of administration to be peaceful and he is also ready to collaborate with them in all security and other matters when the need arise. Finally, the advice of the security agencies on crime and peace building will him work effectively to achieve developmental goals for the municipality.

In attendance were: Hon. Kuah Dickson, Municipal Coordinating Director (MCD), Fire Service Security Officer, BIN Officer, The Divisional Police Commander, Supt. Joseph Quanoo, Assembly Member, Immigration Officer and Municipal Assistant ADIIB Officers.
