NZEMA EAST MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY LAUNCHES DRIP EQUIPMENT TO IMPROVE DISTRICT ROAD NETWORK.

The Nzema East Municipal Assembly has launched the District Road Improvement Programme (DRIP) for the earth movement equipment for road rehabilitation in the municipality. The programme was launched at the Victoria Park Axim, by the Municipal Chief Executive Hon. Eric Essien. The occasion was graced with the presence of Hon. Ndah Kwofie the Presiding Member, Emmanuel K. Asamoah,Municipal Coordinating Director, Hon. Effatte Beyeeman, former Presiding Member and current Constituency Chairman, Hon. Catherine Alema Afeku, former Member of Parliament and Minister of tourism, Hon. Frank Okpenyen, former MCE, the Regional DRIP Coordinator George Agyiri and Dzovakpor, the 1st Vice.

From the traditional authorities were: Awulae Attribrukusu III, Axim Traditional council. Adehyehene Prey Mensah II, Representative from Nsien Traditional council, Nana Amonle Kodwo II, Ajomoro Traditional council and Awulae Angama-Tu Agyein II Gwira Traditional Council.

 

Other notable personalities from the Clergy were, Very. Rev. Thomas Obeng Bimpong-Anglican Church-Axim, Rev. Jacob Awusi Awuku Presbyterian Church of Ghana Axim, Pastor Francis K. Amewundey-church of Pentecost-Brewire and Rev. Thomas Minah-Socreed Action Church-Axim.
