NZEMA EAST MUNICIPAL CHIEF EXECUTIVE RECEIVES COVID 19 VACCINES; ADVISES RESIDENTS TO GO FOR VACCINES

The Municipal Chief Executive of the Nzema East Municipal Assembly, Hon. Frank Okpenyen today, 7th April, 2021 received COVID-19 Vaccines for residents of the Nzema East Municipality.

Hon. Frank Okpenyen after taking his vaccine, admonished residents of the Municipality to take the vaccines to protect themselves against the deadly disease. 

Hon. Frank Okpenyen also indicated that the vaccines will be taken at the following health centres in the Municipality : Axim RCH, Apewosika, Ewuku, Agyan, Bamiankor, Kutukrom, Banso, Dadwen, Kegyina and other health centres. 

Residents are expected to go with their National ID Cards (Voter’s ID, NIA/Ghana card, NHIS, Driver’s license, Passport) for easy identification. They are also expected to keep their vaccination cards safely for the 2nd round of the vaccination. 

A total of 1,380 vaccines were received by the MCE on behalf of the Municipality.
