Management from Nzema East Municipal Assembly organized a day staff durbar on 8th February, 2023 at the Municipal Assembly Hall to discuss eminent issues and possible solutions to curb those issues. In attendance were Municipal Chief Executive, Municipal Coordinating Director, Head of Departments/Units and other other staff from decentralised department of the Assembly. The Agenda for the burbar were as follows; Opening Prayer. Introductory Remarks by the MCD. Welcome Remarks by MCE, Brief on Performance Appraisal and LGS Protocols, Open Forum, Closing Remarks by MCE and Closing Prayer. 

As a side attraction, there were two Medical Officers from Imperial Eye Care  Centre to organise a free eye screening for all staff. The Staff Durbar was one of a kind because of the issues facing staff and Assembly were addressed accordingly,
