STAKEHOLDERS MEETING

On 9th January 2023, the management of Nzema East Municipal Assembly met to hold its first stakeholder meeting for the year at Assembly Conference Hall. The purpose for holding the meeting was to educate the local folks on Property Tax Rate and Business Operating Permit. They were informed that the Assembly will not be responsible for collecting property rates a gain but rather it has been handed over to GRA to do the collection. The floor was opened for discussion and deliberations. In attendance were Municipal Chief Executive, Municipal Coordinating Director, Municipal Finance Officer, Revenue Officer, Budget Officer, various stakeholders in the municipality and other staff of the assembly.
