The Works Sub-committee organzied its first meeting for the year 2024 on friday, 26th April 2024 at the conference room. The agenda for the meeting was to elect the sub-committee chairperson and orientation on the functions of the sub-committee members.
In attendance were the Honorable Assembly Members on the Works Sub-Committee, The Municipal Works Engineer, Physical Planning Officer, The Municipal Feeder Roads Engineer and Assistant Director IIB. The following issues were discussed by the house after the election and orientation. The use of victoria park as funeral grounds, status of projects within the municipality and availability of sanitation equipment at the Assembly. The chairman thanked the members for a successful deliberation. In the absence of further discussions, the meeting came to a close after a prayer was said by Musah Umar.
