The MCE together with the secretariat of NEMA Youth in Climate Action Project (Planning Unit) held a one day engagement with the Youth on Thursday, 13th August 2026 at the Municipal Assembly Conference Room to discuss the progress of works on their proposals for the micro-grant. Some of the groups present at the meeting were Axim Youth Alliance, Network for Axim Development, Domunli Sustainable Youth Association, Axim Girls SHS, Ahle sunna Islamic Basic school, and Association of Cadet Corps. He urged the youth not to hold back but rather get involved and share their innovative ideas for actionable solutions to tackle the climate priorities of the municipality.
